The Medicean Way is a 78.3 km trail of medium difficulty, achievable in 4 or more days. It starts at the Medici Park in Prato and ends in Fucecchio, after crossing the lands where the Medici lived, hunted, and enjoyed shaping wonderful landscapes also depicted by Leonardo Da Vinci in his paintings.

Along the way, you will encounter four Medici Villas, now recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites, as well as historic villages, ridges and valleys, natural parks, archaeological sites, and numerous historical-artistic testimonies.

The Medicean Way is also a strategic link between the Wool and Silk Route and the Via Francigena, allowing walkers to connect the Po Valley and Northern Europe with the spirituality of the Eternal City.
