The Montelupo Golf Club was founded in 1996 by CHRISTOPHER COWIE, who designed the 9-hole course on flat terrain along the Arno River, surrounded by the stunning Tuscan landscape of Chianti Montalbano.
The course, par 36 with 9 holes, measures 2,914 meters. The large lake that comes into play on the first shot of hole 8, par 4, is an element that makes the course particularly interesting. The course offers extensive practice areas, with Putting and Chipping Greens, practice bunkers, Pro Shop, Golf Carts, trolleys, and bags available for rent. The course is suitable for beginners but still requires full attention from more experienced players. Open all year round, every day (closed: December 25, Easter Sunday, August 15).
