La Galleria has been operating for 4 generations in the field of artistic ceramic production and still creates ceramics exclusively handmade and hand-painted, just like 700 years ago.
Salvatore Mirenda creates objects using the ancient technique of the wheel, an activity he has been performing for 35 years, having inherited it from his father Sebastiano, a master turner.
His sons Matteo and Marco are the keepers of the family tradition of working with clay, helping their father to enrich it with new forms and decorations. Their production is not limited to reproducing classic works, but it adds a touch of creativity and originality that sets the work of La Galleria apart.
The store is a little gem in the commercial landscape of Montelupo Fiorentino that has been welcoming people from all over the world for 20 years, earning the Traveller’s Choice recognition on TripAdvisor.
