Bitossi Ceramiche

The Ceramics Workshops

History

The Italian culture of craftsmanship finds its centuries-old expression in the Bitossi Ceramiche factory in Montelupo Fiorentino, founded by Guido Bitossi in 1921.

A long history of creativity and business strategies, a complex network of relationships and an extraordinary synergy between the company and its clients, between technicians and cultural figures, between artisans, ceramists, and designers.

The Bitossi brand, with its inherent characteristic of combining innovation and tradition, is a synthesis of art and culture. The association of the brand with the geographical indication Made in Italy further reaffirms its image: a symbol of refined production, in all of its forms, contents and places; an ability to innovate the configuration and the use of things; in short, it is a unique manifestation of Italian design, culture and craftsmanship.

In its centenary, Bitossi opens the Corporate Museum to the public: a tribute to Montelupo Fiorentino, a place exuding with centuries-old expertise; an acknowledgment of all those who, over this century, have worked at Bitossi with dedication and passion, contributing to making the company an Italian excellence recognized worldwide.

Bitossi Ceramiche is registered in the “Register of Historic Italian Companies“.
The Bitossi Museum is associated with the National Association of Corporate Museums.
