The Tower and the Museum of the Tuscan Flask
Exploring the area

In the heart of Montelupo, the Tower tells centuries of history amidst the river landscape and cultural heritage.
The Tower is a district of Montelupo, named after the Tower of San Quirico, a medieval building from 1317, around which the whole architectural structure was built over the centuries.
The Tower of San Quirico was erected in a strategic area, right in front of the Capraia castle. From 1587 to 1590, Ferdinando I had the nearby Ambrogiana villa completely renovated, and the Tower became a sort of gateway to the estate. Inside, the Tower houses the Museum of the Tuscan Flask.
