Bartolomeo di Giovanni d\u2019Astore dei Sinibaldi was born in Montelupo: here, he attended ceramic workshops, before moving to Florence to pursue a career as a sculptor. His <strong>masterpiece<\/strong> is the statue of <strong>Saint John the Evangelist (1514)<\/strong>, created for Orsanmichele in Florence.
